Clubs is the suit associated with Abilities that pertain to Physical Activities, such as Fisticuffs and Stealth. It is also used in a variety of Physical Faerie Kindred Powers, including Shapeshifting and Etherealness. As a Magickal Aspect, it represents Elemental Magicks, and it produces Element-related harmonics.

On Emotional Harmonic card draws, it may represent Anger. On Elemental Harmonic card draws, it may represent Air.

Harmonics[]

When applying Harmonics from Clubs as a suit, the general effect is that of an unintended Element. For example, if the harmonic is applied to an Emotional/ spell, Illusionary Elements rise in the target's (and possibly the caster's) mind, such as earthquakes, firestorms, and tidal waves. When applied to a Material/ spell, a dangerous elemental backlash strikes nearby people for Rank F damage. When applied to a Spiritual/ spell, an angry Elemental appears (type determined by a Fortune Card draw: Earth (), Air (), Fire (), or Water ()), dealing Rank F damage. As with all Harmonics, the strength of the elements is determined by the highest value of unaligned Thaumic Energy used in the spell.

Special Note[]

When determining random success and failure by the suit of a card (such as Gambling tests or avoiding a Fumble), the Clubs suit always is a success, even at the lowest ability rank.
