♠Spades is the suit associated with Abilities that pertain to Social Activities and Status, such as Exchequer and Social Graces. As a Magickal Aspect, it represents Spiritual Magicks and Dimensional Sorceries, and it produces Spirit-related harmonics.

On Emotional Harmonic card draws, it may represent Despair. On Elemental Harmonic card draws, it may represent Water.

Harmonics[]

When applying Harmonics from Spades as a suit, the general effect is that of a spiritual or ghostly manifestation of some sort. When Spiritual harmonics are applied to Emotional Magicks, for example, it may cause Dark emotions to befall the target or the caster. These emotions can be random, determined by a Fortune Card draw: Fear (♦), Anger (♣), Lust (♥), or Despair (♠). When applied to Material/♦ Magicks, Dark dimensions may open , causing ghosts or evil spirits to fly about, dealing Rank D damage with their touch. In the case of Elemental/♣ Magick, an Elemental of a Random Type representing the gods (determined by a Fortune Card draw: Earth (♦), Air (♣), Fire (♥), or Water (♠)) may manifest and wreck Rank F damage on you or those around you.
