The default state of mortals in Creation is fear. Fear of monsters, fear of eachother. Fear of time and of death and the heavens and the sky and the earth. Through constant terror, mortals survive in an unkind world. They generate prayer from their gods, and from that, value to their betters that might keep them alive. This artifact is forged from a mortals fear, and with that utterance, "I shall fear no beast, nor sickness, nor time, nor deprivation, nor the slings and arrows of mortality," she comprehends and thus transcends her fear.
Effect: This oath provides Bastion of the Self (Heart).
