Gnomes are quick, lighthearted cousins to dwarves. It is believed by many that gnomes were originally the offspring of dwarves and either elves or humans, but all three races strenuously deny this.

History[]

Gnomes have been around at least since the Kingdoms War, since records of the time tell of their trade neutrality between all the warring factions.

Description[]

Gnomes are a small people, smaller than dwarves and certainly more nimble and delicate by far. They have large eyes, and some may have oversized noses or ears as well. Their hands and fingers are nimble and quick, making the more industrious quite good at building things, and the more larcenous quite good at picking pockets (though not so good at running away if caught).

Languages[]

Gnomes love languages, and will collect as many as they can to better facilitate their international trade. All gnomes speak their own language, Gnomish, plus Goblin and any local trade languages.
