Aal'visss and the Moon
Large the moon, bold and bright
Glaring down, in deepest night
Aal'visss could not shut his eyes
'til the moon took on a smaller size.
Trying to block it with claws or tail
The tired hero could only flail
Fury rising in his soul
He broke himself a sturdy pole
As a t'skrang pokes at a seal
Coming to swipe a fishy meal
So did Aal'visss shove along
The too-bright moon that done him wrong
Small the moon, scarred and dim
Softly shine, growing thin
On the softly hissing head
of Aal'visss sleeping in his bed.
