Dear Lahala Ss'isha,
Here is the letter that you asked me to write to tell you how I am getting on in the larger world. Not much of note has happened until recently, except for the routine heroic acts of valor that you'd expect.
I have collected a group of other Named people. Sometimes, I even forget to notice how strangely they balance without a tail, as my chaida said I would.
But recently I have had a vision of great power and I am trying to wrap my tail around it. Perhaps you might understand it better than I do.
I dreamed I was in a little village and there I met Aal'visss himself. He was tall and glowing, a t'skrang of great beauty and power. He smelled of exotic spices and delicious meat. My Tail-less Three encouraged me to approach him and accept a sacred relic from him, a piece of sausage. It must symbolize something, like Courage in the Face of Devastation, or Feeding the Starvation of the Spirit or something, but I can't make it out.
I seem to remember a battle and Aal'visss sending me ahead so he could prepare himself. And then he descended in a fury and all my foes fell before me. What a wonder!
At any rate, I awoke from my vision, still on the road to Parlainth. But I think a miracle did happen somewhere, because I found a piece of the Sacred Sausage in my bag. I intend to add it to my sword to, I hope, grant me the power of Aal'visss as I fight for great justice and goodness.
We have arrived in Parlainth and I will write you again from here once anything of note has occurred.
