The adventurers gathered at a branch library of the Great Library of Throal while their benefactor discussed matters with Merrox. Several tomes were taken by a librarian (Parfor Thecourse) working at the branch library. Armed with fake copies of the books, the adventurers pursued the thief and replaced the real tomes with the fake tomes. They then followed the librarian to the meet site, an old kaer outside of the city. After they knocked out the librarian, one of the adventurers ended up disguised as the librarian to meet with the buyer, an agent of a man named Darkwood. With the real books returned and the librarian brought to justice, all was well in the world.
