Episode Summary[]
The runners are hired to deliver yet another cow, with hilarious results. They are hired by a terrible Mr. Tanaka named Shinji who seems addicted to various AR flourishes on his commlink (from giggling chibi geishas to chibi cherubs that appear when he winks). Unbeknownst to the runners, he got drunk when hired to do a simple extraction job (taking a hacker to the Russian Embassy) and rerouted the runners to instead extract a Kobe beef cow and deliver it to the Russian Embassy.
The runners get a counter-offer where the Sunday's Sun corp wants to pay them for a blood extraction from the cow and delivering the cow to a butcher of their choice. The runners concoct a scheme where they take a dead non-Kobe cow carcass and attempt to deliver it to the Russians. En route, they are ambushed by the USA Cowboy zoku, a gang of Japanese cowboys with throwback sixshooters (and a Light Machine Gun, too?).
They end up delivering the hacker anyway to the Embassy, who apparently spent the night bunking at Doc Makka-Ninja's doss.

People Met[]
- Shinji - Another terrible Mr. Tanaka in a long line of Mr. Tanakas that the runners meet. He is incompetent rather than malicious, though, and tends to overstuff his presentation with AROs, like Chibi geishas and Chibi cherubs when he winks.
- The USA Cowboys - A Cowboy-themed zoku, they wear longcoats and carry throwback sixshooters. Led by Dwayne Eastwood (mage) and John Clint.
- Ryori Tanka - A butcher who paid the team 6000 nuyen for the cow.
- Kenta Watanabe - Sunday Sun Special Projects man.
- Frank Raine - The number one fugitive hacker in Japan, rumored to be a technomancer.

- Koshigaya Meat Concern - Epicenter of a small VITAS outbreak, famous for playing soothing music to cows just before slaughter. Recently listed as "condemned". North of Adachi.

Memorable Moments[]
- Realizing his mistake, Mr. Tanaka calls us on his commlink, then attempts to shoot the commlink to break it. The last thing we hear before it buzzes out is "OH MY GOD, HE'S GOT A GUN!!!"
- The runners disguise a dead cow carcass to look like a Kobe beef cow.
- Oliver casts Punch at Force 12 and shreds a Fire Spirit in one hit, and then takes no drain.
- Yuna rams a ganger with a Movement Power enhanced motorcycle.
