Rocksford is a large town in New York founded by Thompson G. Arksing in 1946. Given the time, it soon founded some of the greatest companies in the United States, such as the F.O.R.C.E.S. and the Baker Chemical Research for Viral Cures. The F.O.R.C.E.S. became known after the event of the 1977 TB Busting.
Location and economy[]
Rocksford is located within the borders of New York, about 240 miles from its southwestern borders. Rocksford is mostly dominated by the two main companies that run two parts of the economy, the F.O.R.C.E.S. and the Baker Chemical Research for Viral Cures. Those two companies house the criminal justice faction and the medical healthcare faction. The population varies to about 100,000 and more. About 20% of the population works for the BCRVC, while a lesser 17% work for the F.O.R.C.E.S., and the 63% work for other smaller companies such as the Root Beer Warehouse in the southern part of town and the 98th St. Diner Dining franchise that spreads around town. Rocksford's brother town, Ardenville, is linked to the railroad and transit system.
History[]
Rocksford is governed by Mayor Thompson G. Arksing, who was elected in 1947 and served in that position for ten years until removed from his position. Arksing was said to have gotten the town funds by illegally dealing with some of the unknown gangs in Ardenville. During his election campaign, Arksing made a deal with the BCRVC, which provided funding for several of Arksing's projects, including public utilities, welfare work, and law enforcement.
Because of Arksing's campaign, the fanciful town gradually transformed from a rural community to an industrialized city. However, the city's expansion and modernization was accompanied by rising crime rates and even terrorist activities. Joseph R. Silas, an old officer of the Rocksford Police Force, founded the F.O.R.C.E.S. to help decrease crime in the town. Arksing was removed from position and replaced by Henry Douglas, who served for nineteen years until replaced by current Mayor George R. Harris.
