The band of The Daughter of the Amber Melody. She leads this band with her violin.
Members[]
The first member, obviously, is Amber Melody. Her first age incarnation, known simply as The Amber Melody, also The Poet-King and The Sound of Sunlight, helped form this band. She bears his bow and violin.
The most vocal and active member, aside from Amber herself, is Virdian Breeze. He is a minor god whose purview includes the color of music, the manse the Nightingale's Roost and several related manses throughout creation, and the band itself. He is only five feet tall and dresses is extremely colorful clothing that comes quite close to being tacky without quite qualifying. He is never without his walking stick, which is actually an Ultimately Useful Tube that doubles as a flute, fighting staff, and even a snorkel. He is quite skilled with the flute.
The next member is known as Cerulean Harmony. She is a Demon of the Second Circle, though a rather low-powered one. She is tall, slender, and graceful, with violet and blue skin. She doesn't talk much, preferring instead to communicate through her instrument, a long stringed object that functions mostly as a cello. Upon further inspection it appears to be part of her person. She was sealed away with the death of the original Amber Melody, but the performance of the Daughter re-summoned her.
The fourth member is called the Golden Rhythm. It is a orichalcum, humanoid automata with a single arm. It is capable of incredible speed and machine precision, and appears to have both a sense of humor and no capacity for speech.
The fifth member is Gull, the reincarnation of the Silver Voice and Amber's Lunar Mate. He is still learning exactly how being a Lunar works, although he is still quite a competent singer.
The sixth member is Capo, a heroic mortal who traveled with Ember and was, until recently, mute. He is quite skilled with a guitar, almost more so than a highly-trained Wood-Aspect. He also sings, thanks to Fern.
